Guiding

If you would like to visit the wilderness, climb a mountain, paddle, learn how to backpack, travel to a new backcountry destination, or just hike for the first time but aren't sure where to begin, consider hiring an outdoor guide.

While I frequently travel solo on my adventures, I'm also a Licensed New York State Outdoor Guide- badge# 8676. I am currently based in Tupper Lake, New York in the heart of the Adirondacks and specialize in the Adirondacks.

Whether you are a first-time forest traveler looking to tackle your first hike or a veteran of the outdoors that might need guidance in a new area, I may be able to help you with your adventure.

I have over 25 years of experience traveling in the wilderness, mountains, and waters. My outdoor pursuits have taken me across the country in a wide variety of outdoor settings including an Appalachian Trail Thru Hike. Over the years I have accumulated over 5,000 miles of backpacking trips and far more miles on day hikes, climbing countless mountains along the way. Now I make my home in the Adirondacks surrounded by several Wild Forests and Wilderness Areas. Within the Adirondacks I have hiked the Northville-Placid Trail, summited all of the Adirondack 46ers, climbed countless other peaks, and visited numerous other destinations on and off the beaten path.

Let my years of outdoor experience guide you on your next Adirondack adventure.
